A healthy take on traditional mulled wine.

Do you have some extra tangerines left over from Sinterklaas? Great! Because tangerines happen to be the star of this delicious recipe! Surprise your friends and family this holiday season with our healthy version of the traditional mulled wine. This version is non-alcoholic in the interest of keeping it healthy and all ;-)

How to prepare:

Cut the tangerines in half and squeeze them until you get about 250ml of juice. Squeeze the lemon. Pour the tangerine juice and lemon juice into a small saucepan. Add the star anise and cinnamon sticks. Add 250ml of water. Place on the stove and let warm, but do not boil. Turn off the heat, place a lid on the pan and let stand covered for 10 to 15 minutes.

Once the spices have been allowed to infuse in the juice, fish out the star anise and cinnamon sticks. You won't need these anymore for the recipe.

Add 3 scoops of Ginger Morning Shot and stir well. Add 1 tbsp maple syrup (or more if you want it sweeter) and a few drops of vanilla essence. Finally, add another 500ml of water.

Place the saucepan back on the stove for a moment to reheat.

Enjoy!
